Talking Goblin 700 VARIANT for the mortal man!

Here's my variant for the Goblin 700. Tuned a bit so it flies how I want it to fly.. Try this if you like tamer helis.

Right-click and save as. The put in your documents/phoenixrc/variants/heli folder.

Please leave feedback and I can tweak more. I don't have a Goblin yet... but am more setting this up to how I HOPE it flies but not sure how it actually flies.

can't get this to work at all.

Tried in in Heli folder and in the Electric ... still does not show up in the model change menu anywhere.

UPDATED!!!!!!

The link in post #1 is now my very latest variant.. and it flies 99% like my actual Goblin 700 with the SK540 now.. it is a little faster now that I've progressed a bit... but I think you will all enjoy it.

I've been trying for an hour unsuccessfully to get this variant to work. I've downloaded it into the helicopter variant folder and I'm using v4.0p but it just never shows up in my list. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you put it here for sure?

.... your documents/phoenixrc/variants/heli folder.

It should show up below the Goblin 700.. you might have to click a little arrow to open up variants under the stock one.

maybe it doesn't show up because I don't have a goblin 700 to begin with? I renamed your file to the trex 700E name and it shows up as a variant of it. If that's the case, where do you find models?

ah ha! models are downloaded automatically (or at least the option) if you have it setup right.. do you have 'check for updates' enabled? or you can manually look for updates.

yeah it's definately much better than the original,
still for me, it's hanging in the air a bit too much. Like there's some spring holding it up..
Also not really as quick as it can get..

Definately much better than what I had done myself last time I tried...

Do you know if there's color scheme available somewhere?

Thanks for sharing!
