Got it! The problem is that the control links are too stiff. I tried greasing it and that didnt fix it.

On the ds610 there is a little pin with travel through the g3 gear. If it raises up (for what ever reason), it will cause the middle gear to vibrate and eventually pop off. This fixed my servo.

Catching that kind of stuff makes all the difference between a having a happy flying session, or spending $750.00 with no smile at all. 8^)

I don't suggest running as much wire as I do with out cap pack, but I butt my batteries together so wires in the middle. .5 volts max ripple.

Hmmm....ok?
Its not really the point of how strong it is which im getting at. First of all, if you weren't there to see the soldering job, and were happy with it, I personally wouldn't trust it. Take the tape off and check. It could be hiding all manner of 'dodgyness' under there. Secondly, most of us started out pretty useless at soldering but the best way to get better is actually doing it. And/or, like you said, get someone else to do it but rather than just watching get them to walk you through it. Thats what I did and it helped me out greatly |
