Default X50 coming to an end ?

I was interested in a X50 nitro but it seems impossible to find a boom either at Tower Hobbies or Amainhobbies !....
Is TT preparing a new updated version to their X50 or do we just have to consider the X50 coming to the end of his life ?...

x50 isn't going anywhere, a new part number doesn't mean anything

Thanks navy raptor. Reconsidering the X50 then ;-). I guess I missed it and got scared to see the carbon one discontinued.

i think there not in a hurry to get the carbon booms back in stock as they are $40 vs the $8 for the aluminum booms

Aluminum is perfect, carbon boom most of the time are aluminum + carbon so ... doesn't really matter ... Any of you encountered some problem with this machine ?

Mine came with the carbon wrapped aluminum boom. When that boom goes its getting an aluminum boom and I wont go back to the carbon wrapped one. Can't see spending more than quadruple for a carbon wrapped boom.

I just had my maiden flight yesterday equipped with the tt 56 engine, matching pipe and msh brain and I am very happy with it. I also really like the blades the kit came with.

I believe these are the ones. Mine came with a set but unfortunately they were destroyed during the maiden. They are a much wider chord than most 600 blades. Click image for larger version
