Default 550X Pitch/Throttle Curves

Hi All,
This is my first setup of the 550x and wanted to pass these settings by some experienced 550 pilots to see if they look correct. I am configuring a Futaba 14sgh.

Throttle Curve:
Normal - 0,25,50,70,100 0-100%
IU1 - 85,80,80,80,85 0-100%
IU2 - 90,90,90,90,90 0-100%

Pitch Curve:
Normal - -12,-6,2,6,12 0-100%
IU1 - 12,-6,2,6,12 0-100%
IU2 - -12,-6,2,6,12 0-100%
HOLD - -3,0,3,9,12 0-100%

Please let me know if these look acceptible. Being Futaba do I need to reverse any of the directions.I appreciate any help I may have forgotten with configuring the 14sgh.
Many Thanks I Advance
Randall

Can't comment on the Futaba stuff, but the throttle curves will depend on your ESC and ESC setup.

Assuming the stock 14-tooth pinion and Gov Store mode on the YGE ... Mr Mels head speed calc gives this ..

Results from the calculation Close
Result for calculation:
Estimated lowest voltage during flight: 20,46
Lowest RPM (due to voltage and efficiency) : 2074

Throttle 60%: 1941
Throttle 65%: 2002
Throttle 70%: 2063
Throttle 75%: 2123
Throttle 80%: 2184
Throttle 85%: 2245
Throttle 90%: 2305
Throttle 95%: 2366

Thanks for the help. I have inhibited both knobs to avoid that issue. I currently have all my pitch curves set at 0-100% , -12 to 12 degrees except for hold which is -3 to 12 degrees.

Whats recommended, flat throttle curve or v-shaped? What are the advantages?

I would go zero to one hundred on TH also this will give you the same feel and you will be better able to recover from a o SHIT

As far as a V or flat throttle curve ....
Depends if you flying end points or gov.

OK, I am going to ask a really naive question but it must be asked. Since I admit I really don't know, what is recommended for sport flying, end points or gov. I can either setup a gov in my YEP 120HV ESC, or in the Spirit fbl. Would you recommend a gov and if so does that mean I just need flat throttle curve? Sorry for the long question but I am trying to learn.
Thanks,
RDavis007

12, 13, 14? What pitch and why? I'm running 13.5 but would like to learn why select one pitch over another and where head speed play in to all this.

On a 6s heli I tend to tame my collective a degree or two so the motor doesn't get (as) taxed, this is a big and heavy bird and it's easy to bog it on fast and aggressive moves with a lot of pitch.
