PLEASE adjust video settings to HD 1028 TO really see this heli!
60 plus hours into this, with love. all the vortex graphics were custom sized and made locally. the island hoppers were original logo's created as well here locally for this helicopter. the call number is the original number, which crashed and the pilot died in the filming of the first episode, new call numbers were drawn for the new heli & new pilot. <- fact

Looks cool, but you are a little off on the filming history. There was no crash while filming episode 1 and no pilot ever died filming this show. Steve Kux was the primary pilot when filming, and he was injured in a crash after the show was over and retired from flying due to his injury. That crash was caught on film and is pretty scary!

There was a crash while filming late first season which killed one of the camera guys. The pilot survived, but it was determined to be his fault for the crash. That may the one you are referring to.

Magnum PI was a great 80s series and reminds me of my teen years. Great looking model and good job. Let's see a flight video!

But ....Just an observation .... Its not a good idea to have someone stand right next to your heli as you do a maiden lift off ?
