Default Lynx tail pitch lever issue

I went to install my black Lynx tail pitch lever today. It fit in the tail case fine but could not get the tail pitch slider to work with it. I noticed the two forks on the lever are not the same distance away from the tail shaft. Of course this means a major binding issue. I have always had very good luck with Lynx parts and find this strange. Has anyone else had this issue?

Default Lynx tail pitch lever issue

I had this problem. Lynx put it down to the plastic tail case being warped. Strange that both stock parts included with the kit fitted fine. Lynx took it as a marketing opportunity to say I should wait for the lynx metal tail case. Anyway I bent the lynx part to fit and it is a good improvement as the stock part can bend under load.

Not sure I can bend mine. Its the bottom fork that is out of wack. If it was the top bending would not be an issue.

you can do it...I did it to mine also. I used two adjustable wrenches, closed one up on the upper arm sticking straight out, then did the same to the bottom arm. Then gently give it a twist in the direction they need to go. Just a really little bit at first, it probably wouldn't take too much to go too far.
