Default X3L with standard skids?

Has anyone tried or could someone confirm that the new X3L can use standard x3 skids instead of those hideous flippers?

I may be getting my kit today, if so I'll try it out.

I have one, I can verify you can use the standard skids with it. It uses the same frame conversion kit available for the standard X3.

Awesome! I really dislike the flippers but the rest of the heli is great. If anyone gets a chance to post a picture of it with regular skids that would be awesome and much appreciated.

That is awesome! Thank you. That's better than I hoped and exactly what I was looking for.

Hey, I know I'm late to the conversation but I wonder how the Lynx carbon skids would look on the x3l. Would give it a slight rake without the flippers.
