Default WIth BeastX getting opposite pitch

No help getting on the BX forum in here so I post it here too..

Been setting up my Beastx on my new Compass 7HV.
Setup is ok.. exept for one thing.
On positive collective input I get negative pitch, and on negative input I get positive pitch. Swash plate moves correct, on positive input it goes up, and on negative it goes down.
On menu I everything works good, all servos goes in the right direction. but the pitch is opposite.
And if i reverse the pitch channel on my radio, the pitch is right, but the swash plate moves the wrong way.
What could be wrong here? Please help
And btw, the swash mix menu is disabled due to the setup for BX with one servo in the radio setup.

Anyone else experienced this problem on BX and 7HV?
How can this be fixed.

Thanx in advance

Yozim

Sounds like you have the main grips flipped. The FBL links should be driving the leading edge of the blades. I'd bet yours are driving the trailing edge.

Thanks for your reply :-)

I have tried to flip the bladegrips and then the pitch and the swash is correct. Tried to spin the heli up for a test, and then suddenly at 1/4 stick the heli tried to lift off the ground. I have 0 at 50%. Do I need to go trough the bx setup again after flipping the bladegrips?

And btw, leading and trailing edge, could you please explain that to me? :-)

Thanx

Yozim

It would be a good idea to go back through the BX setup.

So this means that the leading edge of the main blade shold be at the same side as the fbl link on the same blade grip?

Yes. The grip arm should actually lead the leading edge of the blade as the rotor spins.

so when the swash plate moves up your are getting negative pitch, that would mean the grips are flipped

or if when you move the collective stick up the swash goes down and gives you negative. if that is the case you just need to reverse the pitch channel in your radio...

BTW, I've had experiences with the tail grips being flipped and with the main grips being flipped and spooling up. Neither is terribly fun, although the tail grip flip was much less fun.
