Default Walkera 1#a anyone got one?

Hi all,
I've heard great things about the 1#a over at rc groups ... http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...303473&page=19
Just wondering if anyone one has it who can comment on it's durability?

I've got one, I love it, one of the best Walkera helis I've owned. The heli is quite durable, the only weak part being the tail servo as you probably read on the forums.
I liked it so much I ordered a second one from HK when they had the Walkera sale.
It flies very nicely and very smooth.
Cheers!

Yes as John says the 1#A is a nice heli that flys well and is reasonably durable for its class / weight.

I wish I had bought 2 of them as well. Too late now. I didn't buy any spares for mine so I'll need to be careful

Hey guys, anyone using CF blades on this heli.
I ordered some parts including the 5-pack foamies (I will test fly these tomorrow) from helipal but can't seem to find a good deal on CF blades.
Wonder if HK has the size for this heli.
Thanks in advance!

I just ordered mine. Having been sport flying the 4g6s and trying some mild acro stuff I felt ready for a bigger heli (my eyes will thank me too). I was wondering how is the acro capability of this heli stock with stock battery? I read some about the 3-cell upgrade but I just want to be able to practice the basics for now. Oh and any recommendations for a tail servo? Btw, wowhobbies carries most replacement parts for it.

Hi kutyafal, welcome to the thread! You will not be disappointed with the 1#A. It is capable of 3D in the stock configuration. (at least mild 3D). I would forget going into 3 cell set up for now, it has been done with limited success.
There is a lot of info on this heli here, on the first post there recomendations on tail servos.
I went with this one, still waiting for it to arrive.
Cheers!
John
