Hi Pete,
What is the flight duration in a hovering/sport mode?
I am looking for long duration flights.
Andrei.

Set for a sport flying and hovering mode at a 1500 head speed, you will get over 30 minutes. And if you want more, it is easy to add saddle tanks as the carb in a gasser is pumped.

I would post mine but it only uses the stock canopy with the decals, so it probably looks like any other that is finished in the same manner. Hopefully this spring I will have time to paint the white F/G one I got awhile back. Then I will post a picture.

Very Nice!
I'm a week or two behind you. Started putting the tail together last night. Will finish that and possibly the electronics this weekend. Then next weekend I'll work on the radio set up.

Some newbie questions if you dont mind.

Ok, the manual for the Zenoah motor says do not mount the electronic ignition module on a flat surface due to heat issues. Are you guys mounting the EI unit to the front tray anyways or have you modified the tray in some way?
Also i received my 4.8V RX pack the other day. I see how to connect it to the EI unit, but how do you charge it up? I've got a lipo charger, but I don't have a plug to connect it to rx pack. I guess I could use the charger that came with my DX7, but how do I know how much is going into the pack??

I have my ignition spaced up. just velcro on the long edges on the bottom. that keeps it from sliding keeps vibration out a little and also room to cool. then I ran a strap over top to keep it from coming off. I have an adapter for my charger than can charge rx packs. but I am using a lipo on my radikal. you can make a charge adapter from a servo extension. that is if your charger can charge you nimh or nicd pack.

Here are a few pics of my G 30 I am just now finishing. I have a Hansen G 26, Align 610/650's, Sparten Quark, Maverikk G 5 wide cords, Futaba 72Mhz, and GV 1 gov.
I painted it with rattle cans, Createx airbrush paint and clear coated it with an automotive 2-part.

Nismo,

Looking at your RJX head i see you are using Button head bolts to hold the blade grips on the spindel..From a engineering stand point, I would not run button heads on a spindle...
