Default small wag during high pitch climb

ZYX-S. HK250 fbl belted tail. I get a small tail wag when I do a fast climb. It doesn't wag at all in hover. Is that correctable with a parameter change in the tuning? Or is it something else.

Is it wag, as is continuous oscillations? If so, decrease tail gain in your Tx a few clicks.

If you mean it kicks once, then you might need to tune the tail precompensation. See the tuning guide sticky at the top of the forum.

It is continuous oscillations as long as I am climbing. At the top it stops with no kick out. It doesnt kick out at the beginning. Nice head hold all the way through but a little oscillation, like 3 or 4 inches. I thought it was low headspeed 65% in normal because I went to idle up 75%, it didnt seem to do it. So for the next flight I set normal at 75% and the oscillations were still there with fast climb. Tail servo is savox SG 262. I think it was also doing it when I was out of control once and whipping the cyclic back and forth trying to save it. I have 100 on tail rotor gain and 62 in the transmitter

What you're describing sounds like vibes interfering with the gyro at high loads. Are your blades balanced? Did you notice them going out of track when loaded?

Try decreasing tail gain anyway and see if it helps...

I think it was too much gain. Today it did start wagging in hover, even after reducing the gain by 2. It was a little windy, 8mph from tail to nose. I reduced it 2 more and and I didn't detect any wag on pitch pumps. Thanks.
I just upgraded to FBL/ZYX and it seems to make the 250 much more stable in the wind.
