Default Plugging in an Align DS520 - Quark

Hi all,

Sorry for the dumb question but which way does the servo plug into the servo extension wire. The wires on the Quark are not Black, Red, White like the ones on the Servo. Does Black go to Green or Brown??? It's not in the manual either. I don't want to do anything that might harm the electronics. Help!!

Thanks,

Ron

I accidentally clicked on this forum. I used to own the Quark years ago.
This is a link to the Quark user's manual:
http://www.spartan-rc.com/products/q...ide/index.html
Page 5 shows the servo connector lead.
Note, it has a "Futaba Style" servo connector with a slot in the body of the female connector. A Futaba servo would have matching tab.

Use that slot as the guide to translate between the Quark's pin-out and the DS520 servo.

Check this link for your best answer.
http://www.servocity.com/html/connec...l#.U9VmcKZxb_Y
According to this, the pin closest to the tab on the servo is signal, next is + and the last is -.

Also, note that there is a specific "disclaimer" on this page regarding the type of connector used on the DS520:

Quote:
Note: This pug can be accidentally plugged into a receiver in reverse. If this happens, no damage will occur, the servo will simply will not work. If you receive a servo and it does not work, make sure that you have plugged it in correctly.
