Default Rangevideo

Can anyone attest to Rangevideo.com and their equipment from personal use? I am at the next stage with my eraptor and just need to add a wireless transmitter/receier setup to finish my project.

Also, can someone clarify if a 2.4ghz system is illegal? I'm really confused on that topic.

Thanks!

From my experience, there seems to be 3 or 4 primary suppliers most use. And at least three of them sell the Lawmate brand. Apart from competative pricing, you really need to look at customer service. Having dealth with three of the vendors via email, I elected to go with www.futurehobbies.com. Pricing is excellent, but what stood out was Wade's prompt email responses and after purchase support. I would suggest you search a few of the forums and read the vendor experiences of others. Opinions definately do vary.

Unfortunately I can't help you on the legality of 2.4ghz systems.

I have 2 range video downlinks and did have a problem with the wiring on one coming loose, but they sent me a new connecting wire quickly and resolved the problem.

I don't believe the 2.4ghz are illegal in the U.S. but some are experiencing compatibility issues with the new Spectrum 2.4 ghz radios. I have read that keeping the transmitting antennas far enough (I'm not sure how far) from each other helps.
