So the Align BL700H and BL750H HV Servos are rebadged Savox?
Need to decide which 700 V3 combo to go (Top or Super). Seems the only difference is the servos included.
I checked the specs of the new align BLS HV servos. BL700h is identical to the Savox SB-2271SG Servo Specifications: ●Stall torque:15.0kg.cm(6.0V) 20.0kg.cm(7.4V)= 277oz.in ●Motion speed:0.085sec/60°(6.0V) 0.065sec/60°(7.4V) ●Rating voltageC 4.8-7.4V ●Temperature range:-20°C至+60°C ●Dimension:40.3 x 20.1 x 38.7mm ●Weight:69g BL750h is identical to the Savox SA02271SG Servo Specifications: ●Stall torque:5.0kg.cm(6.0V) 7.0kg.cm(7.4V)= 97oz.in ●Motion speed:0.045sec/60°(6.0V) 0.032sec/60°(7.4V) ●Rating voltageC 4.8-7.4V ●Temperature range:-20°C~+60°C ●Dimension:40.3 x 20.1 x 38.7mm ●Weight:66g So are the aligns rebadged Savox?

Been a pretty well documented fact that All the Aligns are Savox rebranded for them.
and there was a thread a while back as well. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=401055 So probability that the new ones are too is pretty high..

But hey, I'd rather have a servo company manufacturer the servos, then have them re-branded than have a company that designs heli mechanics try to design an electronic servo.

As far as I know' the old regular Savox servos do not hold with HV and align 610 do...
How do you explain that?

Esprit has them at 166 bucks each!! At that price, I would get the Futaba Hv's.

Or just get the Savox's... I think they retail around $150ea and can be bought for less.

Sorry man at that price point, the Futabas are a far better choice. Now, if the Savox's were in the sub 120.00 range, then I would consider.

Hate to agree but I do.. at that price I will never buy them. the 610s were great on HV and super cheap.
but for premium prices like that there are many other choices.

The cyclic servos are $125 each: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...o-High-Voltage and the tail servo is $120: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...o-High-Voltage Now with a $25 discount on a $250 order that brings the cyclics down to $119 each and the tail servo to $114. That really isn't all that bad of a price for these.... |

Who cares who makes them. If the servos prove to be durable and do what they are suppose to do, I don't care what it says on the case. . They look pretty good to me and there are not too many documented failures of the 610s, so if the pattern continues, I'll be very happy to fly the HVs!

So let me get this straight. Align 700H servos are rebranded Savox 2271SG servos but Align charges $40 MORE PER SERVO than Savox does for the same specs? Why would anyone buy the Align ones then?

We were all under the impression that they were Savox's with a different case..
Does Savox still manufacture the guts, Align just assembles the servo in house using their servo case? It's strange that the specs are identical, as are many other Savox and Align servos... Is it just the HV line that Align builds in house, and the other servos are truly Savoxs? But I mean, if anybody is going to know the truth about it here, it's you..
