"Tail Strut" and "Tail Strut Tie-In"

Took a bit of a hard landing this am and the "balance paddle fixer" rotated around the tailboom, causing the "tail strut" to pull out of the "tail strut tie-in". Is the "tail strut" supposed to be glued into the "tail strut tie-in"?

I figure they are supposed to be glued because I had one pop out and I decided to glue it and when I went to try to glue the rest of them they where already glued. I guess they must have missed that one.

Interesting...cause I removed one of the other "tail strut tie-in" and it wasn't glued either???
