Default Mini Protos build query

I'm looking at buying a Mini Protos, this would be my first heli that is not an Align heli. From the pictures that I have seen, it looks like the Mini Protos has been quite well thought out and my instinct is that the MSH FBL head geometry is probably slightly better than some on the Align models.

Looking at the Mini Protos instruction manual that I have downloaded from the MSH website, the only thing in the build that concerns me is the build of the tail assembly, in particular the assembly of the tail plastic rods to the tail pitch slider (top of page 31 in the manual). It looks like the rods are assembled using pins that just push fit into the tail pitch slider, which looks strange to me.

In reality, are the pins push fit, or do they need glueing? Are they easy to fit and also remove if required. Just looks a bit different to the Align tail assemblies that I am used to and before taking hitting the 'buy' button I would appreciate any feedback as to how well this set up works and how easy it is to work on.

Many thanks

Steve

A few push-fit pins in this heli. None struck me as fishy when assembling it, I think it should be ok in the long run.

The bigger Protos uses the exact same set up and I have been flying 3 of them for a couple years with no issues.

Are the pins easy to fit? Do you just push them in with needle nose pliers or do you something else to fit them with?

They are just a press fit with pliers.
