For sale is my 700 size Super Scale Jayhawk

I have recently decided that i simply do not have the time to finish the Jayhawk to the std i want to. I am trying to start a small home business and my day job workload has increased significantly recently. So i decided that it was time to let the Jayhawk go. Plus i need the money for other projects.

This is the actual kit that i have, its and RC Aerodyne Superscale 700

The kit comes with the main mechanics inc 700 mm semi symmetrical carbon main blades and plastic tail blades. There is a fully detailed cockpit interior with LED lights and external navigation lights.

I haven't done much to the kt but i have started the basic assembly.
The mechanics have been assembled, but not permanently fixed into the fuse.
Landing gear has been installed, so it sits on its wheels.
The tail boom has been installed onto the main fuselage but i have deviated from the plans by making it removable and not permanently attached as per the instructions.

The only other thing i have done is made up a new direct drive electric tail system.
As you can see from the photos the kit has a lot of scale detail but the one thing that let it down in my mind was the fact that it didn't have a canted over tail rotor. The full scale heli tail rotor leans over at 20 degrees but the tail on the kit was vertical.
I designed and fabricated a wooden mount that allowed me to mount an electric motor in the tail at the correct angle. The tail rotor assembly mounts directly to the motor shaft and is mounted at the correct 20 degree angle as per the full scale.
This has many benefits in my mind.
More realism
You can run the tail rotor at governed RPM it is not tied to the low rpm of the main head.
longer flight times less drag on the system.
Improved tail authority as tail rpm is no longer tiled to main blade rpm
more reliability as there are no longer any bevel gears to transfer drive to the tail.
much lower maintenance.

There are no permanent changes to the kit, and all the original parts are still there so you could always build it with the tail booms and shaft drives exactly as per the original kit if you want to.

Included in the sale is the Kit exactly as it is from the manufacture
Plus the modified tail motor mount, the tail motor itself, tail motor esc to run it also including the KST Digital tail servo as well shown in the pictures.

I am not including the cyclic servos or the main motor i want to keep them for another heli project.

Need to complete would be a 700 size 450-500KV motor 80amp HV esc
Cyclic servos radio gear and 12s 5000 batteries.
I also have a Kontronic Jive 80 HV if your interested.

The box dimensions are 52x21x15 and it weighs 30lbs
