Default Yet another 700 size Jet Ranger

I guess I will through my build into the mix as well! Lots of Jet Ranger builds going on right now, it has been a favorite of mine for some time and I'm ready to have one in my fleet. I'm using my Blade 600x mechanics as I have yet to see one done with this fuselage. 700x tail boom with modified 600x tail box and a torque tube made from arrow shaft. Now that the mechanics have been sorted out I can start with the detailing. Not going to go to crazy with it but we all know how that is, you start the build and before you know it there is more detail then you thought there would be. I have some of it done to the dog house already. Nav lights and rivet detail are in the plans. Hers a few pics of it so far!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Welcome.. That's a Roban? Like RCA sells.. I had one and destroyed it on the 4th flight. Real dumb move. Looks good. How do you like the Blade 600.. It looks like you will have no head clearance issues with the doghouse.

Stripedgear, Yes, it's a Roban from RCA. I really like the 600x, it flies great as a pod and boom so I'm looking forward to seeing how it dose as a scale. I did trim down the ar bracket about a 1/4" and capped it. It sits just under the dog house.

Wow...Wow..great!!..another Jetranger build..guess we are having 'scale Jetranger build season' now...
The Jetranger is a popular R/C scale model.

The head looks very nice and scale-like..are you going to install a longer main-shaft to make the whole mast taller like the real JR?

Yep..back to my work desk and working on my own smaller Jetranger..she is quite ready for paint...always good to see more Jetranger posted here.

Cheers,
George

Got some more done on the fuse, received the starwood models rivet kit today and it is easy to use. Put some down on the dog house.

Still plugging along on this build. Did some more rivet detail, added a landing / spot lite. I also reworked the door windows, they just didn't look right. Pics up soon.

Nice looking, tell me something are landing skids, looking the skids part touching the ground and the steping platform paralell and in the same streight line. I found out my are not so I will probably need to build new landing skids

Now you have me wondering if I have them correct. I will have to look at the pictures of the real thing just to double check!
