Hi

I'm thinking of buying the CB100. Any one that has one tell my how they like it good and bad points? And the new TX the WK-2402 like how is it different then the WK-2401?

Thanks for any info.

A lot probably depends on what you’re looking for.

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive heli to safely fly inside and practice some basics like nose in hover. The CB100 fit the bill nicely for me.

I‘ve had it for a little over week and am really enjoying it so far. It is living room and outdoor compatible and seems pretty durable. I wreck it nearly as often as the simulator and so far the only damage has been one rotor blade. Battery life is respectable; I’m getting at least eight or nine minutes per pack.

As far as bad points, spare parts are scarce at the moment but that’s to be expected for a new product. It’s a fixed pitch heli so inverted flight is out but you can’t really expect more given the price.

On the TX’s, I can’t compare the WK-2401 to the 2402 since I’ve never had the 01. I can say, that the TX that comes with the CB100 seems adequate. There aren’t advanced features like expo or programmable curves, but it’s really not needed for the CB100. It has a solid feel and the sticks don’t feel that far off from my Futaba 7C.

It is my understanding the WK-2402 has digital servo reversal and a LCD while my WK-2401 requires flipping dip switches to reverse servos and has no LCD. I'm hoping to have my CB100 next week so I'll be able to answer questions on Tx differences then.

i like the 2401better. it holds it's trim settings, and it seems to fly better. i have a 2801 pro, but my brother has the 2401.

Hey Bob, I've had the CB100+2402 for a few weeks now and its good fun. Out of the box it flew well. Though I did play around with the heli to get it flying stable and smooth and a bit of trimming.

The tail is rock solid and responds well to tx inputs, its a great little heli for basic flight, for me i got it to practise all orientations hovering, especially the dreaded Nose-In

The TX is nice, has a large backlit LCD display with a few basic programmable functions and works fine.

Anyway I really like this heli, well worth the money, I bought it overseas from HK through EbayUK. Hope this helps mate. Good luck.

Here's a vid of me buzzing it:

I am a total newb.. I had a CP pro a couple years ago- but lost interest due to fragility- and not flying well in breeze..

Anyway- i got one of these little johnnies last week and its dialed.

I find it builds confidence as it is durable. I am able to nose in pretty decently now- yes, after about 15 packs. I am even doing figure 8's and somewhat smooth circles (left)

two thumbs up for CB100

buy extra Tail and main blades...
