How difficult was it to put the decals on and what type of paint did you use for the canopy & tail?

I used spray paint for polycarbonate (the canopy is painted internally and I removed the stickers from the tail fin before painting it).
In the package there are two white protective shields that must be applied internally in the position of the windows before painting (the hardest part of all the work).
After removing the shields, the windows can be left clear or painted with a different color (better if you use translucent paint).

After painting, you have to remove the outer protective film and apply the stickers.

To correctly apply the stickers, you have to cut them out accurately by removing any excess material.

Here is my mostly stock MSR. Just a couple MH upgrades - will be adding the short swash once it gets in.

Doesn't Cusker have the same canopy and sticker kit on their website? I swear the clear canopy and yellow/red sticker kits look the same.

Yours looks very good!

Yes, they are the same.
They fit the Blade mCX. To fit the mSR you have to drill two additional holes.

Yes... Its not 'cusker' its xtreme-productions, Mr. Cusker is one of their distributors. He clearly states this on his website... The 'cusker mod' is his own product, but the canopy, swash, anti rotation collar and head are all Xtreme-Productions.

Have any of you guys seen these MIA bodies that fit over the MsR?

I just ordered an MsR because I was somewhat disappointed in my Exceed WH300-M5 (Hughes body/police) so I ordered an MSR today and was thinking about adding the Hughes 500 body.

They have an array of colors for the Hughes fit....

...and in military attire....

It looks like an easy installation as well.

(BTW, I swear I have no affiliation with this MIA company. Just love the Hughes 500 body styling!)

I think the consensus is that while they look really cool, they make the mSR handle very poorly.

I guess if you want a shelf queen...

But I don't know from personal experience... It's just what I've read in the forums.

However, if you really like it, go for it!

Personally, I think they made the body way too big...

Stock, no mods, just replacement parts as needed. Main board, main & tail motors, and lots of landing skids. Rotor blades and canopy still original, lot's of scotch tape inside the canopy.

Default I saw the opportunity and thought why not....

This is my first attempt at adding a full canopy to the mSR airframe. I've just spent the last hour and a half or so trying to get this to fit correctly, but somehow didn't get it just right. The lines of the body don't exactly match, however I do like the look of it now, so I may try the process again knowing what to do and what not to do. The down side of all this, as has been pointed out, is the cost of these bodies. This was the MH-35 Force RC canopy which my LHS ticketed at 22.95. A bit steep if you ask me but I guess it is what it is. I also have a final evolution carbon fiber canopy, which I don't care much for since it seems to always want to fall off. I would entertain building a canopy if anyone has any suggestions. I welcome your thoughts on my current set up as well as future endeavors with this wonderful little bird.

Default Just my spin on things

Nothing near as fancy as some of y'all, but after three weeks I figured flat black and some red acetate might look good. What do y'all think?
