Default Jive ESC questions???

I want to know what the default setting are for the jive hv80 esc since I'm clueless.

1.) What is the default cut off to? soft cut or hard cut off?
I would really like the soft cut or the slow cut.

2.) Is the Jive default on soft start up or hard?

3.) Can I do all of these setting with grabbing a ProgCard I?

4.) I need ProgCard 2 for BEC adjusting right?

I'm trying to find out which ProgCard is more benefit for the money.

Default is either no cutoff or nicad mode, I dont remember exactly, If you want to use a cutoff, program mode 9 on top of mode 4 or 11.
Default start up is soft on mode 4 and 11

You dont really need the progcard 2 unless you want to adjust the govenor. I cant tell the difference between 5.6 and 6V

Even on Futaba servos I cant tell the difference. 6V to 8.4V is a different story. :-)

Dumb question.

I can't find anywhere on the manual if you install the "jumper plug" back into the esc or leave it out. I didn't see anything on MrMel's video about it. Do I just leave the jumper plug out?

Doesn't matter. I flown mine without for a while but now I leave it in so I know where it is.

Just get the ProgDisc. It is more expensive but will do both ProgCard 1 and 2 adjustments and more.

Leave the jumper in if you want. Remember that it only enters program mode when you remove the jumper during boot up.

Oh. Read the manual. It could be written better but it does contain answers to many questions.
