Default 1.9g or 2.3g servos?

Guys,

New servos are needed soon, what's the verdict on the 2.3g?
I know Roffy didn't like them but a few other guys had better luck with them.

Whats the latest, shall I use the 2.3g or just go with stockers?

It's for a dual brushless with a Spin 14k, soon 915 or HP06v2.

Well, who do you go for eh
I have been running them in my mods for quite a while now..... But I have got gain controls on the fbl gyros.

I am taking them off now... Going up to 8200 governed headspeed, even with the gains down, these servos caused shakes that are difficult to come out of. Far more so outside in slightly gusty wind. They are too slow to react coming out of the deadband.

They will be suitable for lower headspeeds, (<6000) maybe, but they do not offer any real advantage. Same motor, same gearing with just a bit more drive capability due to the motor drive chip, but that deadband is an issue. Hence the design of the more reactive servo.

The only advantage for me was that they were available and cheaper here in the UK. They are more available now.

There are so many different builds, setups and flying styles that they may have their place, but not for me now.
