Default Pitch arm assembly ??'s

I'm in the middle of helping a friend set up his R90 SE and there seems to be a big difference from the manual. It has flanged bearings on the model, but it shows just a collar. Is it supposed to be an "upgrade" to put the bearings in instead of the collar? Whats size is actually supposed to be there because the ID of the ones installed don't fit on the screws. One side has a spacer or piece of metal tubing that takes up the difference, but it seems extremely sloppy and not quite right IMHO. The manual isn't that great either, so I can't tell exactly how it's supposed to go together. Any help will be appreciated!

Not 100% sure where you are.On my raptors its just the tube and then the flanged bearings in the pitch arm. The tube is fastened with two nuts. I get no play at all.

Hope this help

Could you post a pic of your problem

I'll try and post pics. What size flanged bearings do we need? The ones that are in there are long gone and one is missing the extra tube piece to match up the ID to the screw (aka totally wrong part for the application and needed to be yanked out anyways).

We tore apart the enitre machine over the weekend and fournd a few other erroneous applications of screws/nuts/bolts. so I'm sure we have a little more nit-picking to do before final assembly and "maiden" flight.

Default pitch arm assembly

skunkworx
If you are refering to the colletive pitch control frame assembly on page 18 (1-5-4)
you will not see the collars or washer needed for assembly to main frame indicated there. Refer to page 16 (1-5) and look at #7 ( 2-collars d3xD4x4 ) these go into the flanged bearings (#3 on page 18). There is only one washer (#9 page 16) . This washer goes on the right side of the pitch control arm flanged bearing bolt (#2) which mounts the elevator
control lever (#15 ). Between the two collars (#7 & #11).
There is no washer used on the left side.
I hope this is of some small help.
Regards
