HS-225BB
I have decided to buy one of the trex 500 clones (not sure which one yet) and so was up late last night trying to find servos that don't cost $50 each.
I found and ordered the Hitec HS-225BB on the basis that their performance seems very similar to the Align servos that are sometimes supplied in an Align combo and that they (should) fit. I am probably doing this backwards (wouldn't be the first time!) but I am just checking that these servos are OK.......? (Should have asked before buying maybe but I am quietly confident that they will get me up and 'sport flying') |

Yes, I ran those for a while in my 500. They are great servos for the cost.

That's good news....I have been reading arond and it seems that a few people are using them. I an trying ti build yet another heli on a budget and $20 each seems fair. Besides, I am very new to this and my level of flying is very gentle!
