Yes, I flow a big curve in a tree. The skid pipe got ripped of. Then the tail rotor caught the tree. The protos felt down like a stone from about 15 meters.... Thats it

That same seller Flint linked now has 17mm CF in a 600mm length.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-17MM-OD...item3396fb402b Decent quality but this stuff is 1mm thick so possibly a bit heavier than the stretch alumium boom. Also I'm not sure if the stuff is 100% CF or just pulltruded with a CF weave wrapped around it. Also the tube I just got from that seller smelled awful, like it wasnt fully cured. Just a heads up you might want to leave it in the garage for a day or two before working on it. |
