I realize this question is basically historical but I have not followed MSH in the past So I thought I would ask. I really want a Protos and I am not really in a hurry but a sweet deal would probably make it happen sooner than later.

Are there any US retailers that do some good deals around Black Friday or cyber week for Protos kits or do the typically get excluded.

Protos kits never get excluded from the usual 10% Black Friday sales. So that would be a good time to buy.

Experiencerc.com does Black Friday. I got my protos from them on Black Friday a few years ago. They're my favorite shop, and are in Michigan. I forget what the discount was but it was worth my while ;-)

Ha that's funny, it's a good deal just don't have that much coin with Christmas coming. I did pull the trigger this morning at Helidirect. I picked up a 500 carbon kit shipped for $483.00.

Servos etc will be a couple months away but I am looking forward to the build and joining the Protos club.

I think the issue is you can find rtf helis larger than 500 for that price. The Protos is a little "boutiquey" so that isn't helping. It would probably sell for that price with the vbar
