I know im brain dead, but Have the 12z for two weeks, having massive trouble setting up gyro(401) and gov. Im begging for help, ill call or you can call me. Im at my wits end, this thing is going to get a .357 or 10lb hammer. looking for normal, idle 1 and 2 avcs, with the option to turn off avcs in normal mode. and in gov. using gv1 only getting s1 and s2 on display. Im begging for help, ill pay for the phone call. Otherwise im going to sell a smashed 12z radio

Page 119 of the 12Z manual Governor

You have to activate the Idle ups and Throttle Hold for them to actually function.
Read Condition Select on Page 70 of the manual.
