Default 200 SR X Now for sale

The Blade 200 SR X is now for sale at Horizon Hobbies. Would like to know your thoughts about this helicopter. Would it make a better trainer than the NANO CPX?

I'm gonna say yes. With it having safe technology and panic mode, it will save you in an emergency (OH S@#T) situattion. The nano cpx is a great little bird, but is also VERY responsive and agressive, all with no safe tech. Hope this helps and, good luck. Let us know how you like it if you get one!

I would say no. It is fixed pitched and will teach you some bad habits. Sure it has all the self leveling and panic bells and whistles but those things are crutches that become depended upon. Seems like some if this hobby is becoming more about flipping a switch to fly instead of truly learning how to fly and everything that entails. I guess it is a product of the instant gratification mindset that our society has acquired.

If you've already been trying the ncpx, this new bird is a leap backwards... A nQX will do the same thing for you, and can be used indoors more sportingly.

Why even try fixed pitch with the invent of the MCPX and NCPX's? These are so crash resilient, easy to work on and fun as hell to tune up and modify.
Forget about fixed pitch models, and for orientation training, I go with quads.
