I recently got a used CHP EDL frame and it worked so well for AP I wanted to get another for 3D. All the frames are sold out and I can't remember when it didn't say sold out. All the frame kits seem sold out for each model. I did get a reply and was told new ones are getting cut.

Is anyone else using an EDL frame. It's so compact and lightweight. I'm amazing everyone hasn't converted over. I was scared to do anything outside of the factory stuff when I first started but this is a direct bolt. Just curious what the market is. I would expect tons of people owning one but I can never find anyone talking about their conversion.

I have loved mine from day 1. I have 2 flying as 700 stretches. The birds weigh almost a pound less, and a couple years ago when I did it I was able to sell all the parts I took off and pay for the frame kits!

Minus side is that they don't crash very well, nor would they protect the batteries much if you went in inverted. I haven't tried that yet!
