Default About to get one

I'm about to order my NX4. Going to order the basic kit and piece the rest together.
The 2 things I'm concerned with is the tail pitch slider and the counter sinking of the screws. Ive heard of several failures with the pitch slider. Are the newer ones OK?
I helped a friend build his NX4 and some of the counter sunk holes were horrible. Is that fixed on the newer models?

Otherwise I'm looking forward to this little bird.

Are you talking about the button head screws. If so get a good set of hex drivers or just one 2.5mm mip/thorp. http://miponline.com/MIP/Home.html

I assume you mean the countersink screws don't sink in all of the way...? Not sure if that has been fixed ( or really needs to be). I agree I also found it a bit odd they did not sink flush but honestly it doesn't matter.

+1 on a good set if Allen drivers.

As for the slider the newest one I have is doing well (knocking on wood a million times) and assume the newer one is in the newer kits.

If they sink flush, the screws will hit the aluminum below without tightening the CF, so it is designed that way on purpose. They would have to relieve the aluminum under the Cf to get them flush.

In that case why didnt they just go with button head screws? I know it doesnt affect the performance of the heli but it is ugly.
It wont stop me from getting one though.
