Heli Direct was already out of the HV93. Didn't get the 93i. Dan

That's interesting but all things considered I'll stick with the convenience and light weight of the smaller battery. One of the great things about the Chase design for me is that I can swap a battery out in a few seconds without removing the canopy, I'd hate to lose that convenience.

For my flying style I get decent flight times with the 1450mAh (5 minutes easy) and I've found with other helis that the increase in flight time from fitting larger packs can be much less than anticipated because the extra weight, and thus more power needed to fly, tends to offset much of the added capacity.

Grumpy_Old_Man,

I agree with you mostly but I`m swinging 385 blades on most of mine. The one I run the 1800`s on is swinging 360 and I don`t mind it being a little heavier.

Agreed! The larger batts only really come into play when you need the extra size for stretches. Cog and added weight are beneficial. On a normal 360 equipped heli, there is a trade off. The only time I recommend heavier packs for this, is when I am training a new pilot and the larger pack settles down a normally not so tame 450 size. Making them much easier to handle as a learning tool.
