So you had a bad experience with this, and now you want another set to see if you experience it a second time?

Loyalty? Masochism? Either way, it seems like Zeal takes care of their customers if approached the right way.

I just had this happen first flight about 30sec into flight. Both blades delaminated along trailing edge. Helicopter has suffered a lot of damage. I'm in the process of putting a email together to send to zeal as I bought them direct. Even got the tareq alsaadi signed ones. Not very happy at the moment. Don't care if I smash my helicopter because of my doing either control or build error but having blades delaminate is not cool.

Was 30sec into flight then heard a flutter then shaking violently then into the ground. Have other name blades that have hit the ground and none have split like this. This is clearly a delamination. 2100 head speed.

Wow, that's horrible! It appears as though the structural integrity mirrors just how they look. Damn glad I never really flew the two sets I got.

Good luck in getting replacements that are better. I chalked my experience up to loosing money on the blades.

Well looks zeal have offered to replace with new blades but I said won't use them again if they are not going to pay for repair to my helicopter if they self destruct again. Said I want my money back and looks like I might actually get it. Will up date when I know what the go is.

Today zeal refunded my money for the 690 blades. At least I got that back I suppose. They said they are going to look into the manufacturing to hopefully fix the issue but I'm not going to take the chance.

This is not new. Happened on some of the earlier color scheme blades too. They flew great right up to the point that they failed. Wish they could get this fixed as they do have a blade that has great flight characteristics. If it is a QC issue, that can be corrected. Manufacturing/design, would require an investment..........................

Seems Zeal is doing something wrong when designing/manufacturing their blades. Have never seen this many failures with any other brand. Looks as if the failures are across the board regarding the size of the blade.
