CGY750 GYROS dont seem to be working NO compensation
I am REALLY stuck!
Can anyone help me? After spending dozens of hours trying to set up my cgy750 it appears to be faulty The rudder gyro is ok. The ail and ele gyros are not working.I am not sure if they have ever worked? I have been following the manual exactly and i have watched many videos.I HAVE reset the gyros many times.I have tried everything possible. It has caused me great frustration as i have never been able to fly the heli. The problem is because the gyros are not working there is no swash plate or linkage compensation.I will have to return both the sensor and the amplifier. I have tried both heading avcs.and rate mode with no luck. I am very disappointed The tx is a futaba T8F The rx is an sbus The heli is a newish hirobo embla On turning in the rudder servo twitches twice. The swash barely moves on initialization. can someone please give me a list of every single thing in the cgy750 I need to check. Futaba CGY750 FBL install & review
Have you tried calling Futaba Service? The are usually quite good. It might be worth returning it and getting their confirmation that all is okay (or that something isn't right).
They are well set up for testing their equipment and I have always had good service from them. A phone call first might help them rush the service order too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Futaba CGY750 FBL install & review
One other suggestion - posting the question in the futaba support forum might garner a bit more traffic and response.

version 1.4 is very easy to use and the best version yet. It is a simple setup and flys excellent.
For the person having trouble, is the gyro new? If so and you have tried everything, then by all means send it in to get checked out. Possible warranty. If you are using a 8FG you need to set the radio up properly. I am hopeful you have watched the video's at the beginning of this thread for proper setup. When you go to Futaba's website their are instructions on Ver 1.4 menu's and what they do. It is very well written. I have just updated all my 750's to the latest version and it was so easy. All the settings transferred over and just a quick check to make sure everything was still good. It fly's very good with just the stock settings. The only one I changed was the tail piro mode from 3d to sport. I didn't want my tail to piro 3d fast. Good luck |
