Interesting design for sure! Looks like a very new and original design as it swings 216mm blades. Bummer that the tail fan is only for show... it would be a great way to get FF speeds that coaxials typically lack.

not too sure bout the tail not being driven video i saw it was and it looked totally stock.
so there ya go . i dont know how well that will work with turning if the mix will slow tail motor down to compensate for left or right rudder inputs.....

Steve

Why do you think that the tail motor is just for show?

The specifications don't provide any details about the tail motor, so I am left to assume that it is not a driven tail (like most coaxial helis).

I noticed that helicopter too. I was intrigued by the fuselage as it reminded me of a picture I saw in an older issue of one of the helicopter magazines. They where showing a picture of a very large UAV helicopter that had a similar fuselage design, but I think it was a single, flybarless rotor with a very elegant looking hub.
Wish I could find that picture, but this helicopter from Walkera reminded me so much of that one.
I'm interested in their flybarless Airwolf...........................naturally.
