I surprised his Vibe didn't sink into the muck. This time of year our club field is either frozen or a swamp (yes, Cheech and I are in the same area and members of the same club).

Looks nice!

I've worked in the UK a bit. It can get pretty dreary over there, but doesn't seem to get harshly cold like it does here on the East Coast of the U.S. Course, y'all think its summer when it hits 70F. LOL.

What do you pay for 30% Nitro over there? The Petrol prices are just nuts!

Cheers!
JF

At the moment I pay £21.00 (or $30) for 20% Optifuel, but 30% Coolpower & Magnum are anything between £26.00 ($37) to £29.00 ($41) per gallon. Now you know why I wont use 30%

Yes the weather can get pretty grim over here in the winter months and as I'm looking out of the window right now there's 6" of snow on the ground !!

I'm off to give the simulator a bashing !!

Cheers

Garry

Default Vibe will maiden today!

Okay - here it is, just need to put some fuel lines on, charge my lipo and I am off to the field!

Canopy might get a little more attention - Clear coat dried, but will probably wet sand and lay on another coat - running the blast furnance in the garage - don't think it was as warm as it should be the clear didn't flow as well as I would have liked. Has a slight orange peel. Although the wife says its the best one that I have painted and not to mess with it

Do you mean you did that yourself? Awesome! How much practice did that take?

Started painting last summer - not too hard actually - just need good paint and a dual action airbrush. I buy my stuff from tcpglobal.com. Great deals on airbrushes - for paint I use urethane automotive. Called Kustom Shop - you'll find their paint there as well.

I already have a dual action airbrush, and I'm thinking about using House of Kolor paint. My first canopy should look about the same as yours I hope.
