Elevator Servo Requires Modification?
While putting my 7HV together I noticed that the elevator servo did not fit properly. Looks as though the gusset on top of the servo case mount needs to be filed off to fit flat since it is back mounted? I think that the answer is obvious but just had to throw it out there.....
MKS Servos BTW. |

Yup, hit it with a file/Dremel/knife and make flat.
Alternative, if there's room you could use slotted Carbon servo plates.

Thanks. Thought that was the case but just like hearing it from someone else.
I thought about trying 2 of the extra Synegy servo retainers that I have for my E5 once I verify where the servo horn ends up to maintain the best geometry. |
