Default GV1 sensor wackeyness

has anyone had any sensor wackeyness with the GV1? No sensor plugged in the sensor display shows 0% but with the sensor plugged in (no magnet near it) it shows 97%. Is there any way to tell whether it is the GV1 box itself or just the sensor that is screwing up?

If riding in a plane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. You must leave the vehicle to truly experience the environment.

Greg,
I'm not sure if this will be true in every case, but I had the same symptoms with one of my GV1 sensors. Replacing the sensor fixed it.

I to have had a bad wire going to the sensor that caused it. Must have gotten pinched in a crash or something, but the GV-1 worked sometimes and sometimes not, and was wacky. New sensor cured the problem for me to Bob.
