Question Building question

Hi everyone,

I am wondering how long the build for this heli will be. I am in the process of getting together all the parts for my Swift 16 build and now I have an itch to buy a Tz-V2 also for my birthday in a few months. Money is tight and I would not have enough money to buy all of the parts I need for both helis until probably Xmas. I am loving building my Swift though and I am wondering if adding a Tz-V2 into the mix would keep me entertained until I can get enough money for parts for my birds. What do you guys think?

Brent

There is not much to building a Frenzy. It is pretty much built for you. All you need to do is put all the sub assemblies together. If you have any RC Heli Building experience at all, you can probably build the airframe in an hour or two at most, that is not including any electronics or engine.

Thanks James! Yeah, I have only had experience with the Swift 16 (which isn't finished yet).

I would like to add a footnote to building this heli quickly. I always go through every screw, nut and bolt on a heli new or used and this kit had alot of things that needed doing. Threadlock mainly but also alot of plastic flash btween parts and the ball links were so tight they could've stalled out moderate torque servos. just my 2 cents. Fly it how you like it it!

its not a hard build at all, make sure and check and loctite the fasteners, you will find the tail drive pulley is out of round a bit but just dont tighten the belt too much and itll be ok until js comes out with a new replacement. you might want to notch the canopy where linkage is close if you are doing 120ccpm setup, i got worried about mine so i notched it. there are some notches that come on the canopy but they are for the 140 degree setup. its no a real big deal either way.
