In our research into this engine when it first came out, at first was tempting, but the power to weight that would end up in a heli just wasn't sufficient....

Kind of like a heavy .50 size helicopter, but only running a .46 engine in it. Yes it will fly, just.

For an airplane, I'm sure it would be pretty good.

We found the same problem with the G38 engine. Power to weight just wasn't there.....

50 AP market? How about a small turbine powered bird, say with an MW44? :glasses2:

Chris just called me on the phone while he was fast asleep and confirmed the 1000$ mini turbine intro price!

I specifically heard Chris mumble about a TRex 600N killer and after a few months the Intro price WILL DROP to 500$ RTF including the Wren turbine!

I said "Chris thats like bringing a Bazooka to a knife fight!"

Chris .."Garland, yes exactly thats how Bergen gets down! They import piddly nitros and we answer with hi powered compact Turbines.
Ya gotta understand Bergen's mission to rescue every heli flier from low power to weight helis! Our unsurpassed quality helicopter models are locked and loaded and ready to winchester (empty magazine) on the RC Heli market...."

"Umm Chris.... My friend... Did you fall asleep watching Chuck Norris movies again??"

Chris mumbles..."Delta Force forever...."

There ya have it! Straight from the main man's mouth!

I seen the new Quick Gasser at MHA event. Its not any lighter than my P-Gasser was. So like Chris said I dont see the benifits of going to it. I still want a 11lb Gasser that will be the way to go.

The 20cc gasser flies just fine. It's not a hot dog 3d machine, but it doesn't fly like it is overweight. And it is not like a 50 with a 46 in......contrary to bergan's opinion.
