Ron is just back from Toledo today Jon. He will get to his mail soon.

I just got a full set in the mail today for my second R90. It was love at first sight, once I saw Ron's work, I HAD to have them.

Jonman,

I've checked my hotmail, and I didn't see any?
Make sure you're using: rondarling@hotmail.com
I will try to check in here every day or so too.

No R-90 ones for awhile...sorry. Just 30/50 for now. I have some new ideas cooking  But it's gonna be awhile unfortuantely. Just too busy.

Will,
Glad you got 'em ok. You're a lucky dog it seems. Any updated flight reports?

BTW...Toledo was great, as always.

Well, it flew great until I dumb thumbed it into the ground. I am happy to report all your supports survived the crash. They are tough. Lost 3 servo gearsets, but the servos seem fine.

Thanks again!!

Ron's work is excellent.

+1
Even with 3600HS and thin airfoil CF blades (much more responsive than any other blades) I don't find collective too responsive on the 300x. The 300x is about the only heli I find the collective too insensitive. Like I always say I think the disc loading on the 300x is too much. Longer and thinner airfoil blades help.

Not much suggestions with reducing collective sensitivity, but have you checked mainshaft axial play? 300x run trailing edge main blade pitch control, which means jumpy not sloppy collective with sloppy mainshaft.

There is a setting in the Nikon gov page where keep increasing the value of the Max throttle being sent by the ikon. Keep increasing this til the rpm of the motor stops increasing and then back it off a click. You do this with no blades and ideally motor pulled away from the pinion if course!

It's all setup man. Many, many people get perfect COG with 1300-1350mah packs. Just watch Dave's COG video up top.
