Default Anyone using the Funtech B301 pipe ? How did you mount it?

I know its just two head screws from the engine. But did you modify it in anyway to make the screws run deeper in to the muffler body.?

I have asked this question on Rcr and they say to put rtv on the screws and trust those three threads the muffler is held on. I just want a second opinion.. Let me know how you mount it on OS 92 HZR or HZR 3D speed

Hi.. this is the one with the steel adapterplate right?

Last time bolted it on with just a thin layer of rtv.
Use this only on the surfaces itself and just very thin or better yet use non at all. Never heard of using rtv on bolts, seems to me that a bad idea. Make sure threads are clean and retigthen when the engine is warm.

Last season i bent the adapterplate in a nasty crash taking out a piece of the engine aswell. I recreated with cnc out of aluminium and made it thicker with more threads.
Also creates a better seal between muffler and engine.
