hey guys , im setting up a zyxs v2 and I could only get the usb program to connect once,,i have windows 8 , if that matters,,,, im not understanding what im doing wrong,, and why once I could get it to connect and now I cant,, I plug in the usb , open the program,, plug in my battery ,, then press connect and nothing happens,,,, ive tried reinstalling the driver but this seems to not do a thing!!!! please help as im ready to give up!!!!, any one have any ideas on how to help? thanks

silly question, but do you have the correct COM port selected?

I had the same issue. Here is what worked for me.

1) Turn on your radio
2) Connect your battery to power up the ZYX
3) Start the software on your computer and connect the USB Dongle to the computer
4) Press Connect in the software
5) Now connect the USB to the ZYX port on the side of the gyro.

This works every time for me.

I follow a different sequence that works every time for me...

1) Connect one end of the USB to your computer and the other end to the ZYX port on the side of the gyro
2) Turn on your radio
3) Connect your battery to power up the ZYX
4) Start the software on your computer
5) Press Connect in the software
