Oversky 200 35c bad batch?
Has anyone gotten any oversky lipos lately?
I bought 3 and have been using the eflite 4 port charger to charge them and after 10-15 flights they are starting to lose their oomph. After 2 minutes the power already starts to fall off. The first few charges they held great for 3-4 minutes. I'm also in Florida so it's not cold weather related |

Oversky 200 35c bad batch?
I contacted oversky via email this morning reporting my concerns and within an hour Jon replied and asked me to take photos of them to see how long it has been that they have left the manufacturing plant.
I did notice that the 2 that are showing signs of being bad have the same batch number and the one that works great is a different batch number. I must say that i did not expect to get a response that fast so to oversky. We will see how this pans out in the next few days. |

Compare you're numbers to mine and see if they are the same batch. And I will link Jon to this thread so he can see if there is a common issue. So many people have good luck and I would hate for us to get a bad taste in our mouth from a bad batch that most people don't think about reporting.

Thank sblue92ehsi for taking the time to look into this.
Mine are 195MAH 30C 86911 I bought 6 and have only used 2. The other 4 are still wrapped as I received them! At first I thought these were great. However, after several flights flight time started dropping off. I fly mine mostly in the living room and after abut 2 minutes it would slowly start dropping. It has been a while since I have used them. I thought it might be my eflite 4 port charger not charging them completely but my battery checker was showing them to be charged fully and I was not having any problems with the Mad Dog batteries. |

I use the same 4 port charger but also use a TP610 as well. And if the charger was the issue I don't think the one lipo with a different batch number would be fine. It's a known fact that quality control on smaller lipos like the 1s packs we use isn't all that great as the cost of them is so low so we can't complain too much

I was just fixing to ask which is the ultimate lipo for the 16,600KV Brushless motor. I'm using 2 Eflite 150 Mah 45C lipos right now. They have great because of the weight savings but decent flight time is only 2:30 Min long.
Glacier doesn't seem to carry their 250 Mah 1S lipos anymore. Those were decent although a bit heavy. Hyperion 240 Mah worked well and lasted a while but once one went south they all one by one died and I can't seem to find those anywhere.

That looks like the ideal battery.
Do they fit the standard Nano ESC plug? I need a better plug for mine anyhow, mine came out of my stock charger.

They do fit the standard plug and skids if you file the inside of the battery tray by maybe 0.5mm. It looks like this:
(just being checked by my mechanic) http://miniaviation.com/KM_220P.html You can get 12min hovering in ground effect before hitting LVC on stock motor and almost 10min with factory brushless. My timers are now set to 10 and 8min respectively. This is for 2D i mean no 3D i mean sport flying. I can imagine 3D fliers will find it bit too heavy for mad maneuvers. |
