Question Carb trouble

I have an OS .55 HZ Hyper engine in my Trex. It started easy and ran great until now. It won't start. Glow plug is OK, seemed it wasn't getting fuel. Filter is OK, so I pulled out the main needle valve and seat and blew air backwards thru it. This always worked on my nitro planks. Put it back together and deliberately tried to flood the engine. No dice. Do any of you guys have any idea what I can try next before taking apart the carb? Thanks in advance!

When was the last time your piston ring was replaced. Low compression will make the engine hard to start.

I haven't changed the ring, but it seems like it still has plenty of compression. No fuel seems to be getting to the cylinder. Guess I'll take the carb apart now and clean it.

Is this the 55HZ-R (DRS)??
If so, this has a regulator. The regulator will stop flow of fuel to the carb if the crankshaft is not turning pretty fast (like on a starter).

Even if it is the 55HZ, I'd check the plumbing.
If there is no pressure in the tank, you may not get much fuel flow.

The needle valve(s) are mid and high rpm. First I'd clear fuel from the fuel line. Motor the engine and see if fuel is drawn to the carb. If yes replace the ring. You may feel compression buts its not high enough to start the engine. If no dissemble the carb and remove the "idle mixture control screw" there maybe a
obstruction in carbs idle fuel circuit.
