Default Went to the Dark Side today

As I was at the LHS picking up charge leads and boards for the new charger saw a really good deal on a Blade 130X, extra set of rotors, two extra batteries and a extra metal gear for $200.00 plus tax. Figured why not get a smaller heli that I can do inverted and loops that I have practiced on the sim and before I try them on the 450.

Yes the KDS 550 Innova is still in the works, in fact talked to one of the guys at the LHS on getting some of the required items in for me over the next few months! Now just hope this weather starts to cooperate, woke up to two inches of snow!!! No flying today

Noting to worry about - the 130X is a great bird, which you can easily bind to your DX6i. It's very durable. 4 X crash equals 1 X repair.

So don't be afraid of the "Dark Side" Anakin Skywalker!
May the force be with you.

There isn't a thing wrong with buying another Heli, or another brand! The 130x is probably one of the best helis e-flite has made. It's frustrating when something isn't working correctly, and will make you the most happy you could imagine when things are working the way they should!

It's great, congrats! And if this is the "dark side" welcome! Come inside, we have cookies...

I recently gave mine to a friend... First thing he did was rip the hyper motor out and put a stock on back in... I hear that they now have a metal tail gear out for it... it is definataly worth the investment, or stock up on lots of the plastic tail gears....
That was the first helicopter that I did inverted tail first flight with.... Its a good little heli beat the hell out of it practicing what you have learned before trying with the 450. you will probably notice that your stick inputs are a little larger on the 130x though.
Welcome to the dark side .... we have cookies
