Default 550/600/700 Torque Tube, Has anyone tied to build there own?

I have been saving TT end for a couple of years
I remember making my own TT's for a T-450 pro stretch to use 350 blades.
Has anyone made there own TT for the larger heli's, if so, is there a source for the tubing
Thanks

I've never done it.
But I'd start here:

Another member has made a short segment needed in the Align SuperCobra tail using the ends and arrow shaft material. I don't know if arrow shaft is available in sufficient length either. Carbon tube would be another possible choice.

You can use arrow shafts, I had a friend who did archery and put the ends in for me with a press they use.
No way to press them in without the tool, kept bending the shaft.
If you do this, make sure you put your bearings on first, sometimes when you press the tips in it swells the shaft a bit and they won't slide on.
