Hello Bob O,

I tested the worp with 3000 rpm and nothing got off. Then I tested the full deflection on bench to get the linkage off. No chance without tools. I have 13° of collective pitch and almost at 100% 15.5° of cyclic pitch and I cant get the ball off with my hands certainly not I press very strongly from the top (when I press from the top the power comes from the outer side from linkage and goes to the inner side to the ball in an angle of ca. 10° so if I press more the linkage will press to the inner side of the swash plate) . If I press more strongly I will break something. On the pics it looks that the linkage will hopp off because of the Compass linkage balls. They are a bit shorter on the outer side.

Yup, I have broken links trying to get them off. I think I may buy a a cheap ball link tool and modify it so you can get it in right spot...

I've tried to modify my pliers, it still doesn't work well.

Adjusting links is easy.... Instead of popping the links off, just remove the screw from the blade grip arm, adjust the link by turning the dfc arm and reattach with the screw and loctite.
Best thing is, you can make half turn adjustments using this method, to get more precise pitch.

heh, while it's a bit counter intuitive (you'd think a screw is much more work than to pop-off the link, but I guess not the case with Warp's swashplate), I quite like the idea! not like you need to screw it all the way and locktite each time you readjust anyway. nice tip!

No problem guys... I came up with it after breaking a link, trying to remove it. And now, have never had an issue adjusting links since.
