No they are not... In fact I dont think they will ever be as they would be to flexible for this sized heli and to make them thick enough to support the weight they would be too heavy. At least with the current material that is used...

They work but a little too flexible for my liking. They would be great for people learning and still chopping up grass (or dirt) on landings... They dont break easily that is for sure!

I got the paddles after watching your review - thanks!

The question I have is when you put the weight in the paddle, how do you get it to stick in the paddle? Is it merely using a tool to put pressure on it or is there something else? I know you use a paper clip to pop them out but wasn't sure if it was just pressure to keep them in. If you just slide them in they fall out, so I'm assuming there's more to it.

Thanks!

Just went to RcHover and bought the Gorilla Gear, Paddles and tail rotor blades on your recommendation Bob. I know they will be a great addition to my new V2. I'm still going to be chopping the grass a bit, so I went for the tail rotors anyways. I'll switch to something else later if needed.

I noticed that the new V2 part numbers on RcHover's web site don't match up with the part numbers in the V2 manual. What gives? Am I missing something.

Anyways, thanks for the videos Bob. A big help for this newbie.

I guess they don't make the paddles or tall gear in orange. Did they at one time? I thought I saw a picture here at Helifeak of someone with tall orange gear.

I have the yellow Gorilla Gear right now. I just progressed from back flips only into forward, and back flips, rolls etc. I am not that good yet so I stay up pretty high still. I am trying to get more visibility for orientation. I am going to the V2 canopy, orange tips on the fins, and I have the orange K&B tail blades. I would like to have orange paddles and gear.

Do you have the weights off now. The Gorilla Gear paddles are faster with the same weight and especially if you take the weight out. Maybe too fast. You might want to take it out part at a time by cutting of lengths of the weight.

I don't think those Align paddles are the fastest Align ones either.

Hi Bob,

Yeah, I just couldn't help but answer that one for you.

Bob, PiPino12, or Rchover, what about Gorilla tall landing gear and paddles in orange. Bob, didn't you give someone a prototype set of tall orange gear. Are they going to make them in orange.

Yellow is nice but I don't think it shows up as well as orange. I know you don't like dayglo canopies but I want more visibility on this little thing.

Those were to test on the 500 and they were not made by gorilla gear. I don't think they will be making them in orange but KEEP ASKING... if enough people ask for orange then I think it might happen. Corado does read and watch the forums.

Just installed the Gorilla gear& paddles on your reccommendation. They are great. One quick question about the paddles, do you use anything in the threads. I know that the manual says to put the stock ones on with the green 48 stuff. But from watching your videos I gather you are not a fan of the green stuff. Should I use CA on them or nothing??? Thanks for your time

You shouldn't need anything but over time they might get loose and turn. In that case a drop of CA will take care of that.

If you do that, do you pretty much have to write off the paddles if you have to replace the flybar? If so, it'd be nice to find something less permanent.
