Should have kept the covering simple for my first attempt.

I think you're doing an awesome job on the covering....did you cover the whole surface in white and then add all the color???

Thanks for the compliment. On the fuse I started with the sides all yellow then did the turtle deck and front deck in solid blue that gave me the blue stripe on the side then I did the white stripe (there will also be a white stripe on the wingto seperate the yellow and blue) and finally the black pin stripe.

Looking very good!! I really love the covering lay out. I have had 2 4 Star 40s both had a OS 46FX. When I flew gas it was my favorite plane. I think you will love it.

Seeing yours makes me want to build another one and convert it to electric.

Keep up the good work...

Wow maiden went better than expected. Was very visable and plenty of power. Also had a way better pilot than myself fly it and he made it do things I can only dream of including a hover and a vertical climb until it almost disappeared followed by a spiraling dive straight down. Will try and post vid. next time out.

4 Star's are fantastic planes, especially as a first low wing. Don't be intimidated to fly it...they fly very gentle and land easier than most trainers.

The first nitro plane, and low wing, I ever flew was a 4 Star. It was a total non event and started a passion for flying planks (outside of helis, my current passion is flying giant scale IMAC/3D planes) I think planks, especially giant scale IMAC/3D, can be every bit as cool/satisfying as helis.

It all started with that first flight on a 4 Star.
