Default Installing New TT Mushroom Gear on E7

Any tips or tricks for installing a new TT mushroom gear on an E7?

I was thinking heating the block up with a heat gun or using a bearing puller to push it into the bearings. But maybe there's a better way to do it...

Which one specifically are you referring to?

You shouldn't need heat, you can risk damaging / weakening the plastic with that if not careful.

Put the gear in the freezer for a while and it will slide right in.

This would be in the front. Part # 320-218 that goes into the 2 bearings in the transmission in the fuse.
